What is Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)?

|

As CarrefourSA, we monitor our performance in Climate Change, Water Security, and Deforestation in accordance with global standards. We regularly disclose our indicators, targets, and strategies to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), one of the world’s most respected environmental initiatives. Within this scope, we share all our activities and achievements transparently with the public. For 2024, we aim to build upon the successful results we achieved last year and take them even further.

In 2023, we responded to the CDP for the fourth time, achieving significant milestones. In the Forests module, which we answered for the first time the previous year, we elevated our “B” rating in the categories of Palm Oil, Timber, and Soy to the next level and crowned our efforts with an “A-” rating.

What is the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)?

The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is an independent non-governmental organization founded in 2000 in the UK. It provides a platform for companies, cities, and governments worldwide to report and manage their environmental impacts. CDP collects data on climate change, water security, and deforestation and shares this information with the public. By doing so, it helps companies and cities improve their environmental performance while offering transparent and reliable information for investors.

You can also review our CDP Reports, which are published on our website.
